For almost 30 years I have been working with and facilitating electronic, acoustic and electroacoustic artists, often as a percussionist, programmer or audio editor,
and sometimes a combination of all three.
I have played as a band member and session musician for The Irresistible Force,
The Rising High Collective, The Night Trains with Africa Bambaata,
State of Bengal, Visionary Underground, Dr Das, Dub Colossus and many other bands, in my studio and
travelling across Europe and the World to perform.
I continue to work for a variety of artists. This page documents some of my published session work and a few of my own pieces too. No particular order. I am grateful to Molax Chopa for the awesome photo. Read on.
Inca Steppa: Juno Reactor
Ben Watkins gave me free reign to programme what I wanted and to take it as far as I could go with it. He really knows how to use his session artists to the full.
I played percussion on much of Samuel Yirga's album and EP and have played twice for him live.
Asian Dub Foundation: This Land is Not for Sale:
I Played live drum kit on this one.
Ojos De Brujo Feat. Juno Reactor - Zambra:

Brave Story: Hare And Heather Part 1
I played the frame drum on this one, one of four drummers. I did lots of editing and development work on this film sound track, including writing the best part of a percussion based piece which I cant find on Youtube sadly.
Dub Colossus Live at Junction 2 in Cambridge - Across the Tracks / Opposite people:
Continue to Fight: Indigenous Resistance:
Remixed this one for Indigenous Resistance. I played the guitar on this one, Bass by Dr Das through a wobbly filter.
Shuffle Bump: The Explosions:
I co-wrote this one with James Johnstone of Pigbag and the Explosions; programmed drums and played percussion. We did some amazing gigs too with horn sections made up of members of the jazz Warriors and Loose Tubes, the London Community Gospel Choir and with some of Pigbag too.
Strangely, this tune ended up in a Japanese revue show with full band and Japanese vocalists guessing at the words.
Junglist Soldier by Chris Jay:
Heres a jungle remix I did for Chris Jay. Chris was a client in my first studio for a couple of years. We made a couple of jungle twelves.
Love Situation: Face & Ramjac:
I wrote this one with Gavin Mills, Aka DJ Face.
Digi Space: Ramses:
Heres one of my tunes that came out on the Plink Plonk label under the name Ramses. Mixed by Ian Tregoning and produced by Paul Rip
